Machine and Worklist generator dropdowns work intermittently #111

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Edit or create a run
2. Try to select a machine or worklist from the dropdowns
3. Notice the dropdowns display no data and do not allow you to make a 
selection.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is that you are able to see the valid selections in the dropdown, and 
make a selection. This bug seems to occur intermittently.

This has been traced to the way in which an experiment run is accessed via the 
navigation. There is one path (through the 'recent experiments' component on 
the dashboard which bypasses the loading of some datastores, and causes this 
problem. Fix is imminent.
