Comments (some already said to Thom):

- change the names as you can't see the important part unless extending the
column. I'd simply put "chlorophyll", "oxygen", "nitrate", "salinity",
"temperature". Maybe with units eg. "chlorophyll (mg/m3)" (unit to check...).

- it's more a Thom's idea in response to my question about the number of
points, but be able to select the depth range. Right now only points at 5m
(between 5 and 5.01) are shown, not very useful.

- when doing the playback, the track disappears (expected) but a black line
remains. Why? (cd screenshot1)

- weird white shape (cd screenshot1)

- not tethys-only but we don't really care about the current
lon/lat/speed/course when clicking on a segment, I'd be more interested in
those parameters for the given segment.

- the "track history" maybe should be hidden if working on playback. Or be part
of that window. Just doesn't quite make sense to be with the "platform tracks"
when it's not used - I was trying to hide it without understanding why it was
hiding all the tracks selections too.

- it would be great to have a way to get off the playback mode without having
to reload the page (which also reloads everything, typically need to uncheck
the unwanted tracks again).

- the Martin and Pt Lobos colors are identical... (cf screenshot2... where it's
a problem). I'd rather have the Western Flyer have an identical color as it's
more often out of the bay. But even better a different color... In general
colors are not great. Typically why use the blue for oa2 that doesn't need to
be distinct, and keep all the very similar oranges/red for tracks that actually
matter and become hard to separate?

- don't have a solution for that one but it's always hard to find the asset I'm
looking for. Cf screenshot2 if I'm looking for the Martin. I need to zoom in
quite far to actually find it (the current position, not the track). And even
then I don't really see it (screenshot3, sorry for the French :)) as it is
hidden behind stella 101 (I think) and it's color is too close to stella 104. I
know the drifters are onboard but that's not something you'd know a priori.

I think that's all for now :) sorry for the long post!!
Thanks!

These were largely related to old ODSS, but I pulled the relevant parts out
into my task list for the new ODSS.
