Cannot click on and off tracks #86

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open https://odss.mbari.org/odss/ in Chrome
2. Enter 11 Sept 2011 as start date and 25 Sept 2011 as end date
3. Click Load

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see tracks drawn on the map.  Instead the the first time I did the 
above progress bar goes into an apparent infinite loop.  After reloading I did 
get tracks, but several things do not work in the Platform Tracks pane:

a. The vertical slider does not click and drag I need to use the arrows
b. I cannot turn off (by un-checking box) any platform below drifters

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.5.0-SNAPSHOT built on Friday June 10 2011
Chrome 15.0 Beta on OSX 10.6
