I cannot instal it from my USB stick. Can you please help me?
I just cooy the extracted ipk file to empty usb stick, plug it into the STB
(with enigma2), mount the usb stick, but the STB do not detect the ipk file.
Even if I want to instal it via setting-instal plugins, I canno see it on the
usb drine and its folders.

Thank you form hepl, I hope this player will solve the problem with CE subtitle
encoding finally for me.

Connect to your box via telnet. Then type this commands.

1. cd /tmp
2. wget
http://mediaplayer2-for-sh4.googlecode.com/files/enigma2-plugin-mediaplayer2ab_0
.35_all.ipk
3. opkg install enigma2-plugin-mediaplayer2ab_0.35_all.ipk
4. killall enigma2

After restart of e2 you can start MP2 from plugins menu.

Not sure what country is for CE encodings, but in subtitles menu you can choose
Western/Central(Eastern) Europe and Russia groups of encodings. Default is for
Central(Eastern) Europe. If it doesnt help, I can easily add other encodings..
