MPasswordBox having white overlay on Android 2.3 #320

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.In my login screen where username and password and a login button
2.When click on login while the password box in focus the loading progress 
dialog shown
3.but the textbox overlay is shown above the overlay

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
like other textboxes password box also not to have the focus ring or highlight

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 2.3.3 emulator and HTC explorer 2.3.6

Please provide any additional information below.
While testing with mgwt showcase same happens. Password box alone pops up the 
white overlay.

This is actually an issue with the browser of Android 2.3. There is nothing 
really that mgwt can do to work around this.
