Unessesary scrolling and flashing.

The problem:

Unlike normal conversations in pidgin, the whole feed is pulled at the 
refresh rate. This means that every refresh rate seconds the window will
flash and if already open, scroll the whole feed.

It would be better if only the new tweets from the feed were added to the
conversation. This limits the flashing and scrolling when nothing happened.

I think this is the same problem I'm having. I've microblog-purple installed 
for 5 minutes and it's scrolled and flashed the most recent tweet a ridiculous 
number of times.

This is weird. Please send us your debugging log (pidgin -d > debug.log in 
command prompt). 

Also, what's the value of twitter_last_msg_id in your c:\Users\<User 
name>\.purple\accounts.xml?
