doesnt work on ubuntu 13.10 #273

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. i installed microblog-purple 0.3.0 from ubuntu repository
2. i configured my twitter account and introduced succesfully pin code
3. the twitter account can be actived and doesnt work at all

i should be able to tweet from pidgin but the account i configured doesnt 
appear activated

im using ubuntu 13.10
