I hope that this helps to explain the "problem".

With the stock SE when the data transfer is off, there is the possibility to 
receive and send MMS´s without activating it cause it momentarily activates 
itself, however with these custom roms that is not possible.

That should be good in future releases.

If this is already possible in 2.0.2 good cause i´m using 2.0.1.
