It would be great if minimalist-gmail-specific shortcut keys could be 
customized. 

Use-case: I use toggle-header quite alot, but [ \ ] is not as easy to produce 
on non-american keyboard layouts, ditto for hide-navigation [ ` ]

Very good suggestion!
On european keyboards it had to be some key like §,° or <,> - it had to be 
reachable by the left hand in an instant.
Please implement this also in Min Gcal, because that way one can use these new 
settings in one go.

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
