Feature Request: Enforce names from Contacts in Inbox and Conversations #216

BlackBerry's inbox uses the names as entered in the contact list in lieu of the 
sender's version. This makes the inbox look a lot more neat, especially for 
those of us who keep our contact lists neat and consistent. I have no idea if 
this would be easy to do or not in Gmail, but a feature to impose the Name 
field from Contacts in Gmail would be terrific.

I totally agree with you. This would be a non-trivial feature and would require 
an extreme amount of hackery though since the contact-data is not pulled by 
Gmail at all.

Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
