Chat displayed although Chat > Hide All > Hide chat option is ticked

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?
Hide Chat

What is the problem? Describe completely:
Chat is not hidden.

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs

It has to be just below the navigation links, or it won't work. Are you sure 
you did this?

If you mean that I only ticked Chat > Hide chat, then yes. If not, then I don't 
understand what you mean...

It seems to have been a temporary issue, though, because it is fixed now.
