Hide People Widget is hiding right chat as well #316

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?
Hide People Widget

What is the problem? Describe completely:
When the "Hide People Widget" is enabled, the chat that I placed on the right 
with the corresponding lab is hidden as well. See the screenshots below.

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:
The problem don't persist as the chat is placed on the left.

MinGmail version       - 1.7.37
Chrome version         - 12.0.742.112
Chrome update channel  - Stable
Operating System       - WinXP
Language               - French
Google apps user?      - No
Other Gmail extensions - One Number (but I don't think it matter)

I hope the screenshot is clear enough.

I'll see if there is an easy workaround but no promises. I don't officially 
support right-side chat because it changes so much of the html framework

This is effecting me too :(. I use minimal gmail to hide the ads so that I can 
fit the right side chat on my screen.

same issue.

after experimenting with different combinations of both Gmail and minGmail's 
options regarding the people widget, right-side chat and side ads, there are 
several combinations that have unwanted results/conflicts.

THIS EXTENSION IS DEPRECATED!

Active development continues at Minimalist for Everything:

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
