Hiding Checkbox tools also hides the new back-to arrow in conversations & elsewhere

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?

What is the problem? Describe completely:
When choosing hide checkbox tools icon, you also have the new left-arrow 
back-to icon hidden

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link: Yes
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
