Preview Pane breaks Hide zero inbox whitespace

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?

>> Main >> Hide zero-inbox whitespace

What is the problem? Describe completely:

Google (Gmail) Lab's new Preview Pane (see: http://goo.gl/k4Lpa ) feature 
interferes with Minimalist for Gmail's "Hide zero-inbox whitespace function."  
Specifically, it is as if I have enabled Priority Inbox.

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:

experiments:

MinGmail version       - 1.7.42
Chrome version         - 13.0.782.107 
Chrome update channel  - Stable
Operating System       - XP (I know it sucks, but it's a government computer.)
Language               - English
Google apps user?      - No
Other Gmail extensions - No

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

Like I kinda said earlier, Minimalist is not causing the problem.  Rather, it's 
Google (Gmail) Lab's new Preview Pane feature that is interfering with 
Minimalist for Gmail's "Hide zero-inbox whitespace function."  It just needs to 
be updated.  I understand, however, that it sucks for y'all with Google 
tweaking Gmail so much lately....

I don't officially support labs features because of how many variations of 
Gmail they create, however the Preview Pane lab will be officially supported by 
the Gmail module of Minimalist for Everything. Depending on how much free time 
I have, that'll drop in the next month or so. I will not be patching Minimalist 
for Gmail for the Preview Pane.

Hopefully Google announces the finalized Gmail in the next couple of months. 
Things should calm down after that.

Agreed. Once they officially launch the new UI things will be much easier to 
keeep up with.

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
