Extension disabled in pinned tab

this extension is great, but my settings disable themselves when I "pin" the 
Gmail tab in Google Chrome.

I don't put the template questions there for fun, they are essential for 
quickly diagnosing a problem.

I use all my extensions in pinned tabs every day so it is likely a browser 
version specific bug. Please fill out the following information:

MinGmail version       - 
Chrome version         - 
Chrome update channel  - 
Operating System       - 
Language               - 
Google apps user?      - 
Other Gmail extensions - 

In addition:

* Does the issue happen immediately when you pin the tab or you you have to 
refresh the tab first or load gmail in an already pinned tab?
* Do all of the settings disable or just some?
* Does the URL icon disappear?

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
