Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?

Could not pinpoint which option is causing the conflict (but conflict 
disappears when minimalist-gmail is disabled).

What is the problem? Describe completely:

Unable to type in chat box (unless I insert a smiley face first)

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:

Yes, it persists.

MinGmail version       - 1.7.42
Chrome version         - 14.0.835.126

Operating System       - Win7

Not a Minimalist Bug, it's a very rare Chrome bug related to parsing a CSS 
attribute selector. Other extensions such as adblockers have the same problem 
in some cases.
