Hide Header permanently hides search box and buttons

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?
1.7.42

What is the problem? Describe completely:
With the google bar and the header hidden, but available by clicking the stripe 
at the top, starting a few days ago the search box stopped showing up in the 
header. Also the buttons after the header. All that I have is the Gmail icon. I 
do not have a custom logo.

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments: problem persists

MinGmail version       - 1.7.42
Chrome version         - 16.0.899.0
Chrome update channel  - newest
Operating System       - windows 7 
Language               - eng
Google apps user?      - no
Other Gmail extensions - none

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
