Chat Doesn't Work #367

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?
Something to do with chat

What is the problem? Describe completely:
Everything seems normal, but when I type in a chat box, nothing shows up.

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments: Yes

MinGmail version       - 1.7.42
Chrome version         - 14.0.835.186
Chrome update channel  - ?
Operating System       - Snow Leopard
Language               - English
Google apps user?      - No
Other Gmail extensions - No

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

The "Hide More Counter" doesn't work either

Chrome isssue, not a MinGmail issue. See merged Issue 292 for details
