Auto-complete names not appearing in Compose Mail. #369

Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?

I don't know.

What is the problem? Describe completely:

When composing a message, Gmail's autocomplete suggests addresses for the To
and CC fields. If I select a name and address it does not appear in the To or
CC field. It has been selected, and the email is sent to the right address, but
only the characters I typed are visible.

eg, if I type "Chri" in the To field, Gmail will suggest "Chris Smith
<example@gmail.com>". When I click that name, all but "Chri" disappears from
the To field - but the email, when sent, will go to Chris Smith at
example@gmail.com. It just doesn't show the address while I'm composing it.

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0

Yes.

if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:
Auto-advance, Background Send, Canned Responses, Cutom Date Formats, Custom
keyboard shortcuts, Flickr previews in mail, Google Calendar gadget, Google
Docs previews in mail, Inbox preview, Message Sneak peek, Move Icon Column,
Picasa Previews, Send & Archive, Signature Tweaks, Title Tweaks, Undo Send

Correction: I think the problem does NOT persist when loading Gmail with all
Labs disabled.

I'm having the same issue (using Chrome on a Mac) -- it's been persistent for
several weeks now. And while I understand inactivating all Labs may fix the
problem, I love some of these Labs and would HATE to have to disable them just
to keep Minimalist for Gmail. For now, I'm simply toggling MinGmail off when I
compose email messages... Still, kind of a pain. That being said, I LOVE this
program and feel a guilty complaining about anything... But if you can figure
out a fix, it would be HUGELY appreciated!
