Gmail header background missing #370

I'm not sure what the issue is I've tried it in Internet Explorer and I thought 
the program was related to Google Chrome so I'm just wondering if anyone else 
is having the same problem. 

I've attached a screen shot below, this isn't a problem with Minimalist Gmail 
but I'm just wondering what the issue is.

I forgot to provide detail, you can see the search section where the logo sits 
is missing a background, it's just white and on other Google sites with the 
same design style it has a background.

Any thoughts?

I believe it's just a discrepancy in the styles. If you look closely in the 
Gcal header when it's on a large screen there is a spotlight behind the logo. 
This does not appear on any other new UIs or when the layout is compressed.
