"Hide People Widget" disables(hides) right side chat

Minimalist for Gmail (Chrome) version 1.7.42

When i enable "Hide People Widget" option, my right side chat buddy list 
disappears. 

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments: Problem involves a labs feature. 

MinGmail version       - 1.7.42
Chrome version         - 15.0.874.106
Chrome update channel  -
Operating System       - Mac OS X 10.7.2
Language               - English
Google apps user?      - No
Other Gmail extensions - None

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
