Which Minimalist for Gmail option is causing the problem?
Disable bottom ad

What is the problem? Describe completely:
Bottom ads still showing

Does the problem persist when loading Gmail with this link:

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:

Yes. Ads still show.

MinGmail version       -  1.7.42
Chrome version         -  15.0.874.106
Chrome update channel  -
Operating System       - mac OS 10.6.8
Language               -
Google apps user?      - yes
Other Gmail extensions -

I've been experiencing this as well. Not every message, but frequently enough 
to need fixing.

Likely because of new Gmail interface?
(which is pretty awesome minimal, just need to kill ads)

Active development continues at Minimalist for Everything:

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
