compose short cut "c" produces small text area for email #54

Which Minimalist Gmail option is causing the problem?

not sure

What is the problem? Describe completely:

from the inbox, when I use keyboard shortcut "c" a new compose form appears, 
but the text area for the email is only 3-4 lines in height.

If I refresh the page... it comes back with a full screen text area for the 
email

Does the issue persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:

It DOES NOT occur when using the link above.

Since the link fixes it, it's definitely a labs conflict. This is a low 
priority bugfix for the moment so I'm not going to dedicate the time to 
troubleshoot all your labs. However if you can isolate which lab is causing 
this conflict, I'll push a fix with the next update.

After trying to rule out the labs experiments I discovered that this
can be recreated even on the labs=0

pressing c will bring up the short text area.

if you take focus from the TO: address text field by clicking outside
the form, then press c again... the full text area will appear on the
"refresh"

if you discard, and get taken to the inbox... press c... the short
text area appears with the email form

hmm I still can't replicate the issue on any of my computers which makes it 
very difficult to diagnose. Are you getting any Javascript Errors?

Pushed 1.6.3. Can you verify whether the update affects your issue at all?

If 1.6.3 is just automatically updated for my browser, then it is
still exhibiting the small text area problem

Active development continues at Minimalist for Everything:

The Gmail module for Minimalist for Everything has all the same features of
Minimalist for Gmail and more!

Please disable Minimalist for Gmail if you have it installed and install
Minimalist for Everything instead.
