Google User Bar problems

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Choose to hide all except lab

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Get this offline button and lots of lines (see attachment)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome 10 Win 7 64

The Google User bar changes so much between users, languages, etc that it's 
very difficult to target consistently. I will be improving this code for all 
the extensions in the Minimalist Suite.
