Feature Request: shaded/unshaded hour slots

Which Minimalist for Google Calendar option is causing the problem?
None: lack of feature

What is the problem? Describe completely:
Would it be possible to implement a feature whereby every second hour slot was 
coloured grey (iTunes list style)?

Chrome version         - 9.0.597.94
Chrome update channel  -
Operating System       - Vista
Language               - Eng
Google apps user?      - No
Other GCal extensions  - No

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

This may be difficult since the background grid is an image, not a table but 
I'll see what I can do

If it's an image, couldn't you just mod the img and embed it as a data stream? 
(to reduce html calls)

If you'd like to do that feel free, it's not requested nearly enough to be a 
feature yet.
