Favicon Date stops working when tab is pinned

Which Minimalist for Google Calendar option is causing the problem?
General > 'favicon date'

What is the problem? Describe completely:
- Ensure your Google Calendar tab is unpinned from Google Chrome
- Access OPTIONS for "Minimalist for Google Calendar"
- Navigate to GENERAL
- Select 'favicon date' so that it is checked
- Refresh Google Calendar to verify 'favicon date' is functioning
- Right-click Google Calendar tab and select 'Pin tab'
**NOTE:'favicon date' still functioning at this point**
- Refresh Google Calendar tab that is now pinned:

BUG: Pinned tab will no longer show the current date; instead shows default 
'31'.

Please note that the Operating System should be Windows XP, not Windows Vista.

I'm not able to replicate this issue in Windows 7 or Linux.

Any JavaScript errors?

No JS errors and I'm unable to reproduce this with confidence-- hasn't occurred 
since this morning, so my reproduction steps may be incorrect. I will respond 
back with more information if/when I have any.
