Which Minimalist for Google Calendar option is causing the problem?
Unknown.

What is the problem? Describe completely:
From what I've been able to figure out, the moment Minimalist acts on anything, 
there is a huge gaping white space to the left of the calendar. There's no 
specific setting/option that causes this. It appears only when I have 
Minimalist for GCal installed. I'll provide you with a picture to show what I

MinGcal version        - Latest as of 7/2
Chrome version         - Latest as of 7/2
Operating System       - Windows 7 Ultimate
Other GCal extensions  - Minimalist for Facebook

I can't support both the old and new UIs. I will as long as I can but if I have 
to choose between the two, it will be the new one. Activate the new look in 
settings (See attached)

I believe I'm using a google apps GCAL, therefore I do not have that gear icon. 
Do you happen to know how I can enable the new look?

Google Apps should still have the new Google Bar with the gear icon. If you are 
still on the old Google Bar, contact your domain administrator and ask them to 
get on an earlier release channel or to update their apps.
