Feature Request: Force UI density option #88

I'm just wondering if its possible to create space in between the header, the
search bar area, and the actual content. Please look at the screen shots I've
attached for my demonstration.

This can probably be accomplished via CSS.

I personally find the Calendar header to be extremely cramped and unattractive.
In Gmail I think it looks fine.

This has to do with your screen size. The new Google Calendar and Google Docs
interfaces scale with your screen to show as much content as possible on
smaller screens. At it's largest size, Gmail's header is only larger than
Gcal's header by a couple pixels (annoying but you wouldn't notice). Expand
your window to see what I mean. I do want eventually to force certain density
options in the new UIs but it's not trivial.

Awesome thanks for the response, yeah I took a look at it on my 1080p monitor
at home and bingo they're the same. A bit of a pain as it should be consistent.
