Which Minimalist for Google Calendar option is causing the problem?
-It is not minimalist, it seems this issue has been going on for at least 2
years with Google and they do not seem to want to fix it. When a meeting
invitation is sent from Outlook to a gmail user there is typically an option
for Yes-No-Maybe and if Yes is chosen it gets added to one's GCal. Well, Google
adds the contents of the calendar invite into the URL, which exceeds what the
browser can handle many times and an error 414 is given - URL too large error.
I was hoping that you could add a feature to your extension that would do a
better job of parsing the URL so that there is no error, and the item can be
added to the calendar.
What is the problem? Describe completely:
There are threads about this all over the Internet. Here is a thread that
explains the problem pretty well.
