S60 5th ed: Mobbler gets jammed on specific tracks #564

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Mobbler
2. Open Music Player and play a certain album (for me Devin Townsend -
Addicted) and wait for a
song or two.
3. Open Mobbler again and it's stuck on the first or second track.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
With most of the music on my N97 Mobbler scrobbles just fine. But with at least
one album it
gets jammed. I have to shut down Mobbler to get it to scrobble again. At first
I thought that
maybe it was because there were the character '!' after every song title. I
tried to remove them
from the mp3 tags and it still got jammed. I also removed the '!'s from the
file names but it
didn't help either.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mobbler 0.07(6187) and Nokia N97 v12

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems to get stuck while listening to other songs as well. When it does
that, it usually scrobbles one song
correctly and the gets jammed at the end of the next song.

I've noticed this every 2nd song behavior also. For me not specific tracks so
much. Tends to do it more often
with other tracks still, I think.

I've noticed this as well. It happens in the newer version 0.08(241) as well.
Mobbler gets stuck in the 2nd track and doesn't scrobble anymore.

We've not done anything specific to fix this, but does it still happen with
Mobbler
1.09?

I haven't noticed this to happen anymore with 1.09 and FW v20.

I can confirm this issue still exists in version 1.09 with FW v50 on a Nokia
5800 XM.

Also, while playing these tracks (that cause mobbler to get stuck), the 'now
playing'
entry is not updated. It works fine for other tracks.

Still suffering from this issue with v1.09(265) on N97. Any luck on fixing it?
