Nice idea.
A bit like a mobile version of the
award winning Universal Scrobbler
that came out of the Last.fm's Hack
Day.
And how about scrobbling an entire
album from the album list view too?
Oh, and is there a difference between
adding to your library and
scrobbling?

Yes, scrobbling a whole album is a nice idea. The only problem is deciding what
times the tracks should be scrobbled at. If we get track length in the
playlist then
we should be able to space them nicely in the past, if not we could space them
all by
three minutes. I guess we could have a "I have just listened to this entire
album"
option because you can't scrobble things in the future and I don't think we
should
make it too easy for people to rewrite history.
I think adding to your library means that your personal radio will start
playing it,
but it doesn't add a scrobble and doesn't affect scrobble statistics.

I just scrobbled a 14 track album using the Universal Scrobbler (using
MusicBrainz),
and the first six songs showed up as "2 hours ago", and last eight songs as "1
hour
ago". I'm guessing they added the last song an hour ago, and then each one at
three
minute intervals into the past.

Anyway, your suggestions about album scrobbling sound entirely reasonable.

Implemented in r3c1e949f09.
Can now scrobble a track from any track list, and a whole album from a album
track
list.
I've just noticed sometimes Last.fm only accepts the first album track sent to
my
account, but accepts all scrobbles to an empty test account. I'll investigate.

Update in rebcaae309b1c.
Sometimes Last.fm only accepted the first album track. Now only save and submit
the
queue after scrobbling the last track. Seems to work.
