5800 Volume control buttons disabled with mobbler running

Device: Nokia 5800
Firmware version: 50.0.005
Mobbler version: 1.09(265)

Problem description:
With the new media player coming with firmware version 50.0.005, said to be
the N97 media player, it it not possible to use the volumne control buttons
while the mobbler is running. 
Closing the mobbler application helps, since the buttons are enabled again.
It is not sufficient to hide the mobbler, it has to be closed. :/

Seems as if the mobbler somehow locks the volumne control which conflicts
with the new media player provided.
