Old database Not Restored

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open the application with a database loaded
2.Create a new database
3.Push the button of Load database and select the old one, the old database is 
not loaded

No matter how many times you repeat step 3 the old database would not load. 
Restarting the application is a remedy for this problem.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The old database should be loaded
The new one is still displayed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7
v1.6.1
