Extra column of space

[GoogleCodeExporter]

There seems to be a column of extra space immediately to the right of the line 
numbers. Changing the font/zoom settings doesn't seem to have any effect on 
this. Is this a bug? Screenshot is attached.

I don't think it's a bug, it is used for code folding. You can check the link 
below.

However, I think the column used for code folding should have another 
background color to make it easier to find the edge of the content just as 
Notepad++. Please have a look at the attachment. Hope you can understand my 
poor English.

It's indeed for code folding. Personally I like the background as it is.

Ah okay. Any way to take sun2052's suggestion into consideration? Or perhaps 
have that column collapse if there are no folds in that particular document? 
It's a bit misleading as it looks like an extra space there.
