What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. gclient sync
2. cd o3d
3. ./scons

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected to build o3d
Instead, I get:

emogenet@emogenet:~/Desktop/o3d # ./scons

We have switched to GYP from SCons.
Edit your .gclient file to have this new line after the "url" line:
  "deps_file"   : "DEPS_gyp",

From then on when you 'gclient sync' or a 'gclient runhooks --force' it will
make
Xcode projects for you. Build using XCode.
