Failed to load Wi-Fi driver. #111

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn on wi-fi (Settings - Wireless - Wi-Fi)
2. Wi-Fi status (under Wi-Fi menu option) shows "Error"
3. Logcat: E/WifiService( 1373): Failed to load Wi-Fi driver.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
wifi should work.

What version of the product are you using?
1. gapps-gb-20110307
2. system-gb-20110514a-snapshot
3. boot-gb234-110509-rndis-236mb
4. update-gb-libEGL-110518

On what operating system?
ubuntu 10.10

Do you have logcat or dmesg ?
 (adb logcat -d > logcat.txt, adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt)
E/WifiService( 1373): Failed to load Wi-Fi driver. (nothing more)

What version of the *Official LG* Firmware were before using Custom
firmware ?
(V20G, V20D, V15x, V16x etc. )
Not sure. About phone - Modem version shows V10h. Is that it?

Please provide any additional information below.
No such problem in previous versions.

I forget to mention I DID a wipe (data and cache too).

Have you tried to flash boot.zip again through recovery???...

I think this issue has been resolved. Flash system.img first then boot.zip.

I flashed boot again (after system) and now it's OK.

Thanks very much and sorry, I should have tried it before posting issue. Maybe 
it can be changed to FAQ (since other people can do flashing the same way).

It is very common mistake
so I will look at fix boot.img to make it work regardless the order of flash 
imgs
as soon as possible

i had this problem with gb 2.3.4 20110906   boot-gb234-110509
although i  made a wipe , then i DID INSTALL THE SYSTEM.IMG first then 
installed the boot image and gapps through recovery. when the system stated i 
couldnt turn wifi on  tried to reboot , the system hanged ( stopped at openetna 
logo) so i used fastboot again , made a wipe  , insatlled system , then boot  
and gapps ( recovery) , , the system started ( same problem) .. rebooted .. the 
problem was gone !! :) sorry i dont know how to attath a log :)
but anyway its working now ..
