I had that same problem before, where the status bar would appear about 2 cm
down from the top of the screen, and the bottom part of the screen was cut off,
and appeared on top of the status bar.
I haven't had that problem since a few updates to OpenEVE.

i'm having the same problem also. i think it's about screen timeout problem?
though it can be recovered by pressing the power button.
Other than the scrambled screen, my phone often not responding while browsing
or doing normal tasks, but it usually happens after screen timeout or pressing
button too much at one times, and the only way to recover is by battery pull.
But when i play games, the phone never have such problems.

On system20111011-snapshot-snapshot the touchscreen not responsive, need twice
or three time when touch an icon/ application to work. Any one have this
problem too?

Sometimes. I thought it happens because the screen reacts weird if it is hot.

i also have this problem, but since it happens really only somethimes i wasnt
able to logcat it... Last time it happened to me my screen was nearly frozen
;) its kinda cold here these days ... i think its relatet to some app, i got in
a few times after turnig the phone off and on again in the camera app.

i have the same problem , the screen sometimes is cut into two pieces , with
the bottom coming over the top .. have to reboot to get it back to normal.

I only need to press the sleep button on top of the phone
then the screen goes black
i press it again and the screen is normal
