Automatic brightness is useless,it's always too dark #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.select Automatic brightness

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The screen is always too dark,I have to adjust it maunally,or screen usually
can't be readed.

How to adjust default settings for automatic brightness?Official settings seem
to be much better.

I means the value maybe is a lit low.Automatic brightness is functional, but the
brightness is a little dark.

i think it's related to Cyanogenmod options , maybe not an issue or bug

Try setting custom levels in cyanogenmod's configuration.
I think default brightness levels are great.

I have tried, but I don't know the meaning of value.
when value is between 2 and 3,the brightness is 30%?in fact, screen is dark at
almost any time, but if i set 30% manually, screen is much brighter.

I'd like to konw the relationship of the value of (CM
setting->display->Automatic backlight->Edit other levels->screen value) and
value of (display->brightness->manual).they are not equal.with the same
value,CM setting is much darker than oficial

You merged some of my changes, I believe.

The configuration change was not the only thing that I had to change to have
correct automatic brightness. There are more commits close to that one.

yes. I've already patch all things before releasing GB alpha.

but the level of lightsensor value somewhat lower then OpenEtna.
so I have to change config a little bit.

No, not those commits.

These ones:

https://github.com/OpenEtna/android_frameworks_base/commit/56f2ccd47213c6074e74d
c6346b1bccd9d0ea984

https://github.com/OpenEtna/android_frameworks_base/commit/f92c0d87c9fc0dbacbbe5

https://github.com/OpenEtna/android_frameworks_base/commit/e0bff88306d3bf8c552a2
de9eaeeb99fe6042253

These corrects the behavior of the sensor and the keyboard lights.
With these applied the phone will have the correct brightness after waking up.
Even in a dark room. Before, the phone would be fully lit.
And some other corrections.
