Remounting the sdcard (through memory menu) solves this problem in 2.3.7 (you
can use previously installed progs) until next reboot...
P.S. Also: black textures in neocore (but 40 fps we dream about)...

Thank you for your work!

I have the same problem and I also can't install new applications on SD card.
Remounting didn't help me

I tried going up but not working, attempting to read the SD card is reset, and
does not work, I think it is kernel problem, because when you install the ROM
2.3.5 (did not work with constant reboots), with the new boot of 2.3 7,
similarly did not read the SD applications.

I have similar problems format your sd card (or delete the android folders),
then just move some app to the sd...

I deleted it also... Remounted the SD card... Nothing... Still not working.

Ok, aparently I didn't remount it, so, it worked when I:
1) Deleted /sdcard/Android/ (actually moved just in case)
2) Remounted SD card.

You don't have to delete your /sdcard/*.

why don't you try to Fix permissions found at RecoveryMode(recovery.img) menu.

"Fix Permission" menu fix some /sdcard/* local data permissions and it will fix
SD card related permission problem
after upgrade your GB system.img.

Sorry but "Fix permissions" via rom manager doesn't work.

Original comment by Katzen...@gmail.com on 13 Oct 2011 at 4:30

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
It worked for me from the rom manager. But what wkp means is the Recovery mode
with the recovery boot image (recovery.img). It also has a choice to fix
permissions.

Since the problem is solved. Now I can copy applications on the SD card.

This was what I did:
Enter recovery mode, seeking partition sdcard option. I ask that the seral size
125Mb put Ext. Now the question q Swap size to be 16MB.

Sectors created so you can copy the programs to the SD Card

I have found some conflict with old OpenEtna feature.
I just disable the OpenEtna "choosesystem" feature and it works fine.
boot.zip will be available soon.
