boot.img and system.img are part of the firmware?
i think they are the OS?
And the OS is normaly not part of the firmware in a PC.
There is normaly the BIOS the Main-Firmware. (And the ones in your 
Graphicscard,HDD, etc.)

i want to install any v10x KDZ firmware (like V10L) , just to revert back to 
v10x amss
then i will install any system i want.

I hope your choosen v10x firmware has fastboot.
without fastboot you can't flash your phone anymore. :(
but why you want to flash it back?

i want to install the v10 amss , then to install any v10 (firmware with 
fastboot) , the ultimate goal is to have fastboot and v10 radio.

If you are on V20 AMSS you can't flash V10. I haven't tried it myself, but N2k1 
says there is no way to do that, at least by now.

There is no way back, at least with kdz_fw_upd, kp500-utils-en i have any thing 
but something is protected.

I was asking to wkp because if the firmware is loaded into ram, maybe whe can 
hack it with an 1.0 amss ram dump (or something) to get the 1900 band that 
doesn't work on 2.0 amss.

I don't want to be in trap !!!!  just ..
the 3G connection is working in all systems I've tried , there are no problems 
with v20 amss  (at least in my case) . but i want to reinstall official V10L.
this problem is not (high priority) issue .

I have no problems  with the newer firmware, the trap that you can not return 
to v10 amss......
means that u can not flash any V10 kdz

I don't use My GW620 as a mobile phone ...it's not a primary phone . I can not 
trust It. i flash and learn . all moded firm's and not 100% stable .so , if i

firmware i want ...in my case (v20 amss) i just can flash v20 KDZ, but all v20 
KDZ are not official (at least in my region (middle east)).   the latest 
official firmware in my region is v10h

You only want to flash back because you only want to know that you could 
theoretically flash every firmware on it?
or arn't you able to flash openeve on your phone because of the v20x Firmware?

with the link i gave you you can flash your rom if you need it.

i flashed all Openetna and all openeve and the Chinese X4+X5 roms
i can install anysystem rom (image rom ) via fastboot
the 1st goal is to flash the official V10L KDZ (v10 amss + official arabic 1.6 
system)...
then i will make a CWM backup ..
then to install V10G (fastboot enabled).
then to reinstall the V10L backup images
then to make a full NAND backup via QPST
then to repack the QPST backup to V10L .dz then to .cab file then to KDZ file
the ultimate goal is to have (fastboot enabled) V10L official arabic KDZ ......

현재 4월 30일자 시스템 스냅샷 사용중입니다. 예전 
진저에서 캐시만 지우고 바로 올라왔는데, 마켓의 작동이 
되지 않습니다. 계정 입력도 이메일 어플을 지우면 입력도 
안되는 상황입니다. CM7의 변화로 인하여 구글앱도 바꿔줘야 
하는것인지 궁금합니다. 부트이미지는 236메가 스냅샷 
사용중입니다. 부트이미지 입힐때는 clockworkmod 이미지로 
올렸으며, 나머지는 크게 이상없습니다.

아, 그리고 한가지 더, 리마운트를 입력하고 드로이드 
익스플로러에서 파일 삭제를 시키니 삭제가 되지 않네요. 
예전 진저에서는 가능하던데, 혹시나 이쪽 관련해서 
수정하신 부분이 있는지 궁금합니다.

i want to make V10L because its my native lang , its the latest official 
release in my region......it's not a problem to make v10l or v10g or any v10x, 
the the problem that i can not install any v10 KDZ file.
anyone can instal any v10 system image , but i want to make a full KDZ (with 
v10 amss)

gapps re-installed. but i was a typing a adb remount for cmd, does not deleted 
for droid explorer. so, i used to root explorer in my KH5200 :( is the only 
problem for my KH5200.

이미지도 클락워크모드 또는 eve-recovery이미지로 
사용했습니다. 마켓이 안되는 문제는 클락워크 리커버리 
이미지로 구글앱을 다시 설치하니 먹히더군요.

hi Wkpark, 

I see from the openetna forum that, there is a chinese developer working with 
GB having your ROM as a base.

If you have time, please look at that ROM and if you both can work together 
that will be great for the forum.

Also, going forward whats the improvements we are expecting in the ROM. ? any 
new functionalities.?

it contains some non-distributable contents like as "rootexplorer.apk" 

X4/X5 is just a binary mod of the OpenEVE.
in addition, X5 is older than "system-gb-110430". X4/X5 is based on

I am using your Rom and i am very happy whit it.
You have done a very nice work. 

I am a programmer whit good skills in java but not very good whit C. If you 
need some help count me in.

Do you have any contact whit the Cyanogen team?

I do not know what is the receptivity of them (or yours), but I think we all 
had to win, if your project was inserted in the "Cyanogen Project.

I think it would give more visibility to your potential project and, more 
developers could join you and help.

They also have support for nightly builds, which is something that I think 
everyone would enjoy.

I installed GB when it was released initially. Then switched back to froyo due 
to incomming call problem. Switched to chinese version 1 and 2. Yesterday 
installed GB 20110430 version. Till now I have got problem in 2 incomming 
calls. I cant hear from other party. Was not a problem in Chinese version and 
froyo.
