Youtube HQ video decoding. #26

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Can't play MP4 files. sounds can play but screen almost freeze

What version of the product are you using?
the latest version

Yea, I believe this is a codec related issue because 3d benchmark is almost the 
same (or even better) as in the official froyo. In the official froyo most of 
the hq youtube videos are playable and smooth enough and in GB they are not 
(this happened in the last rel. of openetna as well), low quality vids are 
playable though, but really laggy.

Erm.. this problem doesnt occur only when watching youtube vids, also when 
watching a hq vid on the phone

I use internal media player,and 3gp files seem can be played (maybe because low 
quality) 
And i found some 3D game object like HP/MP/EXP would become white

This is indeed related with the hardware codec i think. When i use vitalplayer 
and i select the option software codec , the mp4 files work just fine. :)

i think so, too
the default player of gingerbread of wkp can NOT play such many nomal file
so youtube is too

Well I cannot see any movies on my 2.3 . The same ones I could see on 2.2 open 
etna and official one. Mp4 files. Low quality . About 263 mb a full movie. So 
not only hq movies. I tried internal video player, real player and a few others 
from the market. Same problem. I have sound but video freezes

i can not view HQ on youtube , but the problem is the normal youtube video 
quality freezes !!!

it include some proprietary libs included in the V20G firmware. 

this update includes HQ video decoding/encoding codecs and config files for 
this it.

HQ decoding is not perfect. some HQ video on youtube works but not all of them.

sorry again , in some youtube clips , normal and high quality works perfectly
in other clips , high quality not working good
other clips , neither normal or hight clips works .
