Manually entered APN's do not save #30

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1: Goto Wireless->Mobile Networks->APN's
2: Enter in an APN manually
3: Save

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect it to save, but it does not save the manually entered APN.

What version of the product are you using?

alpha version of openeve

Ideally it should take that APN information from the sim card, but it would be
nice to be able to manually add it if necessary.

>SamSamb - doesn't work. if I just type in the name and apn and escape with
the back key, it saves somehow. However if I input the full settings and hit
save, it erases.

I've got the same problem.
APN can be saves only with default MCC and MNC.
If you change one of them APN will dissapear from list.

you can post your result after fix your APN setting.

predefined APN settings are located at /system/etc/apns-conf.xml

but sometime, specific APN setting have invalid value.
-----
this is some example.

<apn carrier="Rogers"
mcc="302"
mnc="720"
apn="rogers-core-appl1.apn"
mmsc="http://mms.gprs.rogers.com"
mmsproxy="10.128.1.69"
mmsport="80"
type="default,supl,mms" />
