No call waiting- second line does NOT ring

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. call a friend using your cellphone
2. call your cellphon from your land line while your friend is on the phone.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The call waiting should notify you and give you the option to accept the call.

What version of the product are you using?
2.3.3 gb

On what operating system?

Do you have logcat or dmesg ?
 (adb shell logcat > logcat.txt ^C, adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt)

What version of the *Official LG* Firmware were before using Custom
firmware ?
(V20G, V20D, V15x, V16x etc. )

Please provide any additional information below.

I get this error (see pics)
NOTICE the greyed out call waiting box. I can NOT check it.

I have the same problem also.

To clarify further, in OpenEtna I had the same issue where I couldn't get into 
the settings like the screenshot you show here, but I believe Call Waiting 
worked anyways.

In OpenEVE, if I am in a call, and someone calls me from another phone, there 
is no indication on my phone that there is another call coming in, and the 
second caller just gets rings, no voicemail or busy tone.

I get this also. I tried while i was on the phone with my girlfriend and 
calling my cell phone with my house phone and it would ring but no notification 
on my cell phone of any incoming call. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because I 
very much like call waiting

I think in the latest version 2.3.4 this may be fixed.  At least I know I was 
able to place a second call while already in one outoging call, which didn't 
work before. I haven't been able to test receiving a second call yet though.
