Me too.
How you installed OpenEve without fastboot? O.o
i can go into fastboot WITH battery or WITH USB-cable or both.
Try to enter fastboot without pulling your battery out of your phone.
Then you connect your phone with a power source or your pc.
press spacebar at right time.
if you are too slow the battery loading logo apears.

I think I know what you mean iareh, just that it's very finicky abut entering
fastboot.
You have to press spacebar and shift at just the right time for it to work.
I often only get it on the third try, but it works with or without the battery;
just easier without the battery because you don't have to wait for the battery
charging animation to finish - you can just kill power by unplugging the USB
cable.

@iareh // we can't touch fastboot area.

fastboot == bootloader is located at the hidden place of nand flash.
so we can't touch bootloader area with normal fastboot.exe/adb.exe tools.

wkp - I'm not an Android expert like you so if this is a beginner question
please forgive me :D.

Is there any way to reboot the phone straight into fastboot mode without
needing to press spacebar/shift?
