What's the use ?

In the normal mode the ipv6 address is generateed from the hardware mac address.
you would every time have the same ip.
but if you want to have an automatically generated ipv6 ip like you get a new
ipv4 from the dhcp (in ipv6 there is no dhcp. every device generate its own).
i don't want to surf with my real ip every time.
my privaticity is my good.
don't want to miss it.

If the Privacy extension support is disabled on a system you surf everytime
with excactly the same IP adress generated out of your MAC-Address.
But if you enable the Privacy extension then your system will generate every
time a temporary ip address which will be show to others in the web.
this is a security and Privacy enhancement.
