hi,
next time please open two issues if you have two problems ;e) it makes it
easier for me to track which problems still exist and which are already fixed.
ad 1 - no, i can't add a certificate because i don't have one. and i don't have
it because it costs $600 per year and i am not willing to put this much money
into it.
if you know about somebody who does own a certificate and would sign openwig
(it works like this with HandyGeocaching), please ask them to contact me, i
will be very happy to do this.
ad 2 - this might be a duplicate of some saving problems on Nokias. please
attach the new files here (it should be one .gwl and one .ows)

ad 2 - attached
ad 1 - isn't there a way I could sign it myself for my device? There is a
similar option for UIQ 3.0 apps
Thanks, David

ad saving - it's not the same as on nokia phones, but very similar -
apparently, the "saving" banner is right to be there for a long time, because
the save file is unfinished. either it really is that slow, or it gets stuck on
something.
could you please test this?
1. start a cartridge.
2. without doing anything, as soon as possible, save the game
3. let the "saving" banner hang there for a minute and kill the application
4. back up the .ows file (copy under a different name or something)
5. repeat steps 1-3, but leave it for two minutes instead of one minute
then compare file size of the two .ows. if the second one is bigger, that means
that the saving process is really too slow. if they're the same, it means that
it got stuck on something

I have the same problem with saving. (LG GS290 with bluetooth GPS) The saving
needs about 6 to 8 minutes each time. I tried a cartridge that saves
automaticaly on every station. After that time the game comes back and I can
play on. If I kill the application during the saving progress, I cannot start
the cartridge again (I think the saved files are dammaged).
