By Anonymous (26 October 2010 - automatically ported issue):

Hello, i'm on rev 895 and stealth is hardcore bugged here. Stealth sometimes
work correctly but vanish never do. You got no improved stealth at all when a
rogue is vanishing i can still see him even when im 20 yards away. Sometimes
stealth is bugging that hardcore that i can see him even from more then 40
yards. For example when im doing a duel with a rogue and hes vanishing i can
see him in charge range (with warrior) and charge him oO and this is definitly
not what its supposed to be! I guess screens say more then thousand words can
do so there you go:

please fixx!

Reverter 932+933. Also yeah, backporting
http://code.google.com/p/trinitycore/source/detail?r=9b8dda17aa9e7905e83f0659b10
6741a65be17f5 + all the fixes required after this patch would probably help and
should be done in the future

Using rev 1110+ stealth works fine. But there shouldn't be a time of 1 sec. to
"enter" stealth.

After using stealth or vanish you're still visible for 1 sec. and everyone can
attack you. (even vanishing spells doesn't work cause of this). But after that
1 sec. it works fine, with vanish buff an enemy player can detect you only of
you stay 2-3 yards in front if him, no matter what buffs does he have. (Tested,
enemy hunter had paranoia and stealth track, i had vanish buff and hunter saw
me only after i came in melee range with him, but without vanish he saw me for
10-15 yards or even more. Vanish buff works.)
