G-Sensor not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the G-sensor calibration
2. Watch how it's not responding

Also, any app using the sensor say they can't find it (eg. 
com.boycoy.powerbubble)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The spirit levels should move and app's using the G-sensor should be able to 
detect it

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the screen does rotate when 
i rotate the device.

the calibration app (propretary htc app) is not compatible to our g-sensor 
driver. unfortunately we wont also be able to fix the problem with some apps 
because we are not able to make the needed changes in framework on this htc rom
