Headset earspeaker not working #12

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. plug your headset
2. call your friend
3. chat

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You should hear your friend, but you dont hear a thing.
Headset earspeaker is not working in-call. 
It does not work either for MP3 player.
Hint: arch/arm/mach-msm/qsd5_comp/snd.c, see ioctl

agreed, at least from my side! especially why you may need to use the phone in 
car while driving and safety takes its importance

I totally Agree, also one of the most important functions of this phone is 
using it as Mp3 player....

the solution to this issue is definetly to plug in the headset in wm6, start 
fmradio and boot android

Not be confused, this issued is fixed, but I think the driver must be tunned a 
little bit, because the sound quality is not the best, in WM the sound quality 
is better than android
