check if you have a folder called "media" on the root of your sd-card..if you
dont that's the problem:),you have no ringtones..
create a folder with this name,place there your mp3's or whatever you want and
you will have ringtones ;-)

I'm sorry if I sound confusing while mentioning the problem. Actual problem is,
if I call my number from another phone then my android phone doesn't show any
incoming calls where as the other phone can hear the rings. In short I don't
get any incoming calls. On the other hand If I call someone the other part
cannot her my voice where as I can hear their voice. Something strange is
happening.

well..try to format your sd card and install android again and report if
anything changed,and also you may consider to get another sd card

Yeah doing that whenever it starts giving problem. Also tried using different
sd cards but seems like issue is consistant.

this is a strange issue,this is first time i hear this..i'm sure u are doing
something wrong,just don't know what:P
if when someone is calling u and the phone display doesn't lighten up then is a
issue reported by others,and the cure is to calibrate g-sensor in WM..
